1. Geelong Arts Centre – Free Community Day

This is your invitation to explore the new building and witness showcase performances from local community theatre and dance groups as part of the Community Showcase.

2. Winter Shiraz Festival
Friday 4 – Sunday 6 August
Join Geelong’s Winter Shiraz festival for a delightful experience of tastings, fine drops, and local indulgences.
Nineteen local wineries are participating this year, offering unique programs including special masterclasses, tastings, delicious Shiraz-inspired cuisine and more.
3. Anther Gin Distillation Masterclass
Friday 25 August
Join Anther Gin for a two-hour session gaining a bird’s eye view of a working gin distillery whilst also having the chance to create your own bespoke gin.
As a group you will choose the botanicals for the creation of this unique gin, partake in the gin distillation process, choose the name of the gin, bottle it, label it and take it home with you in a 100ml bottle.
4. Queenscliff Film Festival
Friday 4 – Sunday 6 August
The Queenscliff Film Festival (formerly Bellarine Lighthouse Film Festival) brings an eclectic program of films selected from around the globe to digest, challenge, discuss and enjoy.
The weekend program aims to be inclusive and accessible, providing the local community and guests access to films not readily available in the region.
5. Tulip in the Vines

Catch the last few days of Tulip in the Vines at Austin’s.
Tulip Restaurant, a renowned establishment in Geelong’s dining scene, brings their exceptional modern Australian cuisine to Austin’s winery for a limited five-week kitchen residency.
6. High Tea on the High Seas – Queenscliff

7. Gutsy Girls Adventure Film Tour

The Gutsy Girls Adventure Film Tour serves up a curation of action-packed, inspiring all-female short adventure films like no other.
Offering something for all ages, genders and adventure lovers the Gutsy Girls Adventure Film Tour is packed full of adrenaline, inspiration and fuel to fire your passions.
8. We The Makers Sustainable Fashion Prize
Until Sunday 29 October
We the Makers is the National Wool Museum’s major biennial program dedicated to supporting authentic design, material consciousness and sustainable, ethical practice. Aligned with the Geelong UNESCO City of Design designation, We the Makers champions the future of design and Geelong’s ongoing role in the wool, fibre and textile industries.
On display are the 20 shortlisted entries from Australian and international emerging fashion designers.
9. Pimms, Paint & Plate @ Splatters
Friday 18 August
Get ready for an exciting evening filled with art, cheese, and cocktails! Join in for another Pimms, Paint and Plate event at the cheese bar.
Sip on delicious cocktails, savour tasty cheese, and let your artistic juices flow. You will get to take home a beautiful painting that you can proudly display in your home.
