Geelong Vintage Market’s cavernous 2,000 sqm is full of vintage clothing, furniture, books, records, antiques, collectables and more. It’s located within the funky Federal Mills, a heritage red brick complex that was once a 1915 woollen mill.
Experienced treasure hunters will be familiar with The Mill Markets. There’s a huge one in Daylesford and another here in Geelong’s Newcomb, and it’s full of vintage goodies.
Geelong has more than its fair share of op shops and the north end of Pakington Street is a hotspot with about half a dozen good-sized shops to explore.
If you like the hand-made, artistic and unique, outdoor markets are the go. Queenscliff Community Market is held on the last Sunday of the month between September and May and you’ll also be able to pick up some fresh home-grown produce and baked goods while you’re there.
