Just Dropped: Curlewis Golf Club gets a BIG makeover with lots of room to stay….
It’s official, the hottest new golfing facilities have just swung their doors open in Curlewis on The Bellarine.
The spectacular new Curlewis Golf Club clubhouse and accommodation establishment won’t just spoil the avid golfer, the next level facility is perfect for functions, weddings, conferences or just a special getaway from the day-to-day gride.
Let’s start with the accommodation, sleeping 126 people the little village has a modern but comfortable cosy feel. All rooms have sweeping views of the surrounding golf landscape and from some rooms, you’ll be greeted with views of Corio Bay and on a clear day, you’ll spot the You Yangs across the water, it’s simply breathtaking.
With a range of room types to choose from, you can have a nice relaxing getaway or gather a group for a more epic escape.
You don’t have to trek far to enjoy the clubhouse which welcomes everyone, not just golf club members. There are multiple spaces to enjoy based on your mood.
Ivor’s Spike Bar is designed for the casual, intimate, relaxed occasion with offerings of brunch, lunch and snacks. You can enjoy a glass of wine or a beer or indulge in a fancy cocktail as you take in the sweeping views of the course.
And for the pièce de resistance, make your way to Claribeaux, the Clubhouse’s signature restaurant. With a French influence, contemporary fusion and a keen focus on sustainable local produce, let’s let the images tell the story. Claribeaux is open 7 Days for breakfast and dinner.
Oh, and did I mention you can play golf? With what can only be described as a ‘next level’ Pro Shop, you’ll want to get stuck into hitting a round of golf in no time. Regarded as one of the most progressive and exciting public access golf courses in Australia and ranked in the top 50 Australian Golf courses, the club welcomes everyone.
If a full round of golf isn’t for you, The Range is just down the road, a fully undercover driving range featuring 18 bays, a licenced bar and café, an onsite mini-golf and a function centre, this place is not-so-serious golfing fun.
Once you’ve explored all the new facilities, you can pop over the road to Leura Park Estate for some wine tasting, live music and some grazing platters, sounds delightful, we think so!
