CentreStage is an ethical community theatre that gives back to the Geelong Community in so many ways.

CentreStage provides a safe and accessible place for performers to develop their craft and feel included in the Geelong musical theatre community through opportunities to be involved in local productions. Whether it be performing, volunteering behind the scenes or joining a production team, CentreStage has given back to the community by providing opportunities to an exceptional number of musical theatre enthusiasts. This has allowed CentreStage to become the largest amateur theatre company in Australia.

Their passion for the performing arts shines through in every production they put on. To date, they have produced over 70 shows, including such standouts as We Will Rock You, Sound of Music, Les Miserables, Puffs, and Singin' In The Rain. Their productions have been enjoyed by audiences of all ages and have received critical acclaim.

At CentreStage, we pride ourselves on their commitment to inclusivity and diversity. They are owned and managed by a person with a disability and LGBTQIA+ community, and their management team includes individuals who identify as First Nations and represent various minority groups. They believe that everyone should have access to the performing arts and strive to make their productions and classes as inclusive as possible.
